    Born in 1967 in Hino, Japan, Yuzo Koshiro is one of the most celebrated Japanese video game composers. Beginning in 1986, his long-lasting career saw him work on a number of cult titles, from the early Nihon Falcom era – Dragon Slayer, Sorcerian, Ys – to more recent series such as Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune and Etrian Odyssey. A pioneer in FM synthesis composition, he has helped redefine the boundaries of game music in the 1990s, with Streets of Rage standing as one of his masterpieces.
